As an indoor plant, indoor ficus bonsai trees have been a favorite to use inside the home because of there dark green leaf color. Ginseng Ficus Bonsai

The ginseng ficus is also known as Banyan Fig and Taiwan Ficus.
This bonsai has small dark green leaves which are more oval than the Benjamina. The bark is grey to reddish and dotted with small horizontal flecks up the trunk.

Ficus Bonsai Care

All are rated as for very easy indoor maintenance. Among the most water tolerant, versatile and easy to care for bonsai trees for beginners to grow indoors.
